Works both ways

If the Angels (and other clubs) are serious about customizing ticket prices based on true “value” -- charging more for better seats in the same section, charging more for a game against the Yankees or Red Sox than one against Kansas City or Tampa Bay -- then I’d like to see them be consistent.

Charge lower prices when: (1) the fourth or fifth pitcher in the rotation is starting; (2) a team’s star player is out of the lineup due to injury; and (3) it’s late in the season and they’ve been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.
