Celebrate the reopening and $85-million expansion of the Seattle Art Museum with a special lodging-and-tickets package at the nearby Mayflower Park Hotel.
The museum, which is adding gallery space and increasing the size of its restaurant and store, has been closed for more than 16 months. It is scheduled to reopen May 5.
The deal: $209 per room, per night, May 5 through June 30. Included are two tickets to the museum and valet parking.
The hotel: The Mayflower Park, built in 1927, is a member of the National Trust Historic Hotels of America and is one of the last locally owned hotels in the Seattle area. It has a martini bar, Oliver’s, and a Mediterranean restaurant, Andaluca.
Where is it? The hotel is at 405 Olive Way and is close to the waterfront, restaurants, museums and shops.
Reservations: Call (800) 426-5100 and ask for the SAM I AM package. The special is based on space availability and does not include tax.
