Emissions plan a ‘fraud,’ Gore says

Al Gore said Canada’s new plan to reduce greenhouse gases was “a complete and total fraud.”
Gore said the plan, announced Thursday, did not specify how Canada would achieve a 20% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2020.
He said it also allows industries that are increasing production to pollute more if they use emissions-cutting technologies.
