Update -- Coming off a 73-63 victory at New York, the Sparks are 2-3 on the current seven-game trip. Last time they were in Houston, the Sparks fell, 74-64, giving the Comets their first victory of the season after 10 losses. The Sparks have shot better than 40% in each of their past three games. Mwadi Mabika has averaged 14.2 points and six rebounds in five games since regaining her starting spot. The Comets feature some familiar faces on the bench -- Tamecka Dixon and Latasha Byears, key players on the Sparks’ championship teams of 2001 and 2002.
