Boy left adrift in Dead Sea
From Times Wire Reports
An 8-year-old Israeli boy spent six hours floating in the Dead Sea after his father accidentally left him there during a family trip, police said.
Rescue workers said the boy was in the sea with his father and two brothers on Thursday evening when currents drew him away from shore.
The Dead Sea has an abnormally high salt concentration that keeps swimmers afloat on the surface.
The boy said he remained calm while awaiting rescue. No charges were filed.
