Gunfire exchanged along border

Soldiers from North and South Korea exchanged gunfire along their border, the office of South Korea’s Joint Chiefs of Staff said. No one was hurt on the southern side.
North Koreans fired several shots toward a South Korean guard post in the eastern part of the Demilitarized Zone, a statement said, and the South returned fire.
It was unclear if anyone was hurt on the northern side, and North Korean comment was not immediately available.
