HIT AND MISS
Hit: Arron Oberholser matched his lowest score in 11 rounds of playing the PGA Championship, 68, despite playing with a broken bone in his hand that bothers him on occasion. “I never know when it’s going to creep up and start aching again.”
Miss: U.S. Open champion Angel Cabrera had a 10 on the par-three sixth. Cabrera knocked two shots out of bounds on the 200-yard hole and also hit one into the water. After he finally got the ball on the green, he three-putted.
