A former member of the radical leftist Red Army Faction, convicted of murder in the death of a U.S. soldier and the bombing of an American military base, poses no more danger to the public and will be released on parole Tuesday, a German court ruled.

Eva Haule served 21 years of a life sentence for the 1985 attacks, the Frankfurt state court said. She will be the second convicted member of the group to win parole this year.

Spc. Edward Pimental, 20, was shot Aug. 7, 1985, in the western German city of Wiesbaden. Authorities said his ID card was used to enter and bomb Rhein-Main air base in Frankfurt, killing two Americans.
