Toyota Motor Corp. is recalling 15,600 new Tundra pickups because a rear drive shaft can separate and cause the wheels to stop turning.

The recall covers four-wheel-drive versions of the 2007 Tundra, the carmaker’s Torrance-based U.S. sales unit said. The problem has occurred one time, with no accidents or injuries, the company said.
