The searchers

I admit I fail to see why UCLA Athletic Director Dan Guerrero needs to utilize an executive search firm in order to find candidates to fill the open position of football coach rather than just doing some basic research and brainstorming himself.

And as a taxpayer, I sure hope that no part of my “contribution” is going toward paying for this misbegotten, unnecessary task.

Please Dan Guerrero, spare us. If I had a passel of Heisman Trophy winners, to say nothing of the likes of Steve Young and Jim McMahon, I’d put lots of points on the board too.
