JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Fred Taylor started right, cut back left, broke a tackle, waited patiently for a downfield block, then strolled into the end zone.

His 62-yard touchdown run on Jacksonville’s opening play set the tone for a 49-11 rout of the Oakland Raiders.

Taylor finished with 111 yards rushing as the Jaguars (11-4) won for the sixth time in seven games and clinched the No. 5 seeding in the AFC playoffs.

Jacksonville scored touchdowns on its first four possessions, with drives of one, seven, one and three plays. David Garrard completed 11 of 18 passes for 199 yards.

The Raiders (4-11), who suffered their worst loss of the season, finally turned things over to No. 1 draft pick JaMarcus Russell. The rookie was seven-for-23 passing for 83 yards with a touchdown -- a two-yard pass to Zach Miller with six seconds remaining -- three interceptions and a fumble.
