Re “Go, Fabian, go,” editorial, Feb. 15
Having the presidential primary in February is not all good. It is not the earlier primary I object to. The problem is the additional primary election. In an era when California cannot pay its bills without massive borrowing (all the bonds that have been floated in the last few years), it is folly to burden the voters with a second primary when one of the principle reasons for it is to save the hide of certain politicians. An either/or date for the primary election would have made sense. Adding another primary election is just political posturing at its most absurd.
