Kanye West is planning HBO show

Kanye West confirmed he’s developing a TV show for HBO with Larry Charles (“Borat,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Seinfeld”), producer Carrie Freitas and music producer Rick Rubin. But West went out of his way to say it’s not a reality show. Early reports indicated it was an unscripted series.

“I wouldn’t do something as cliche as a reality show,” West said in a statement. “At least give me the credit for being more creative than that.

“It’s fictional, and loosely based on my life. Maybe this will give me the opportunity to spaz out at the Emmys one day.”
