North Carolina bounces back
Brandan Wright had 17 points and visiting North Carolina recovered from the loss that knocked it from No. 1 with a 77-55 victory over Clemson on Wednesday night.
North Carolina moved to 16-2, 3-1. Clemson fell to 17-2, 3-2.
No. 2 Wisconsin 69, Purdue 64 -- The Badgers (18-1, 4-0 Big Ten) kept the Boilermakers (13-6, 2-3) winless on the road since February 2004.
Vanderbilt 94, No. 10 Alabama 73 -- Shan Foster scored 27 points to help the Commodores (12-6, 2-2 Southeastern Conference) beat the Crimson Tide (14-3, 1-2) for the ninth straight time at home.
Florida St. 82, No. 23 Virginia Tech 73 -- The Seminoles (13-5, 1-3 ACC) ended a three-game losing streak by upsetting the visiting Hokies (13-5, 3-1).

Boston College center Sean Williams and forward Akida McLain, both suspended earlier this season, were dismissed from the program because of an unspecified violation of team rules.
