DUSTIN HOFFMAN not only plays a rouged and bewigged 18th century Parisian nose in “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer,” he was also a guest at the Chateau Marmont’s tres exclusive dinner party Jan. 11 -- hosted by “Factory Girl” star Sienna Miller -- to launch Les Exclusifs de Chanel, a new collection of couture fragrances. 1. It takes a pretty strong ego to do a Mini-Me pose with Amazonian beauty Cameron Diaz, showing off her Chanel mini-dress, new black hair and rejiggered nose. Also in the crowd: “Lost” hottie Evangeline Lilly, “Babel” babe Rinko Kikuchi, “O.C.” honey Rachel Bilson, ‘70s supermodel Lauren Hutton (wearing sneakers and gardening pants?), Vanessa Getty, Harvey Weinstein, Honor Fraser, Wendy Stark and Lisa Eisner. The spectacular candlelit spread will be featured in an upcoming issue of InStyle.

Warming up for the Globes, Russian style

It just wouldn’t be Golden Globes weekend without Michael and Irina Medavoy’s anticipated annual pre-Globes bash at their Beverly Hills mansion Jan. 13. The most sought-after invite of the weekend is now sponsored by Louis Vuitton and Phoenix Pictures, but the party -- this year with a Russian New Year theme -- still drew the Medavoys’ A-list pals, Globe nominees and Oscar hopefuls like Leonardo DiCaprio. Djimon Hounsou enjoyed the caviar and vodka, 2. Dennis Quaid and his band the Sharks performed, and 3. Heidi Klum and Seal acted more like lovebirds than expectant parents while 4, hosts Mike and Irina showed their high-powered guests how to cut a mean Persian rug.

Chateau warmed by glow of imminent glory

It was freezing Jan. 13, but one could stay warm by rubbing elbows with Hollywood’s elite at the annual HBO pre-Golden Globes party. Chateau Marmont’s lobby, dining room, hall and patio were packed with stars, bigwigs and industry honchos, including Globe-winning monarchs “The Last King of Scotland” star Forest Whitaker and Helen Mirren, “House” doctor Hugh Laurie, “Borat” comic genius Sacha Baron Cohen and ... Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who looked like they’d played dress-up in their grandmother’s closet. 6. “Sin City” director Roberto Rodriguez hung with “Charmed” Rose McGowan in the lobby. 7. Smart guests like director Peter Berg stayed near the stairs. Among those braving the cold on the plastic tented patio: 5. Michelle Trachtenberg, left, Karen Duffy and Gina Gershon. Even 8. Turtle and Drama, “Entourage” actors Jerry Ferrara, left, and Kevin Dillon, admitted to being star-struck. So was indefatigable Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who arrived around 11 p.m.

Hangin’ with the critics

Who says the old guard can’t keep up? 9. Clint Eastwood and his wife, Dina, topped off their pre-Globes weekend at the Los Angeles Film Critics Assn. awards at the Park Hyatt last Sunday. Eastwood picked up a best picture honor and 10. Helen Mirren, seen with director husband Taylor Hackford, landed another best actress award for “The Queen.” Next week, she’ll be lauded at the Santa Barbara Film Festival.

No party is complete without ...

Heat lamps, which made it possible for 11. HBO’s pre-Golden Globes party guests Jan. 13 like Mark Wahlberg, singer Robbie Williams, Michael Keaton, “Heroes” star Ali Larter and Wendy Stark to circulate (and smoke) in relative comfort. Brrrrrr.
