Firefighter is convicted of child-porn charges

A 16-year veteran with the Orange County Fire Authority was convicted Monday of receiving and possessing child pornography, including photos depicting bestiality and bondage, officials said.
Tyrone Ganoe, 42, of Norwalk was arrested after he allegedly offered to share his files, which contain more than 70 images and movie clips, with an undercover agent, who was monitoring the Internet. Ganoe, a firefighter at a Cypress station, faces at least five years in prison when he is sentenced April 16.
