No. 21 Texas A&M; ended sixth-ranked Oklahoma’s 24-game Big 12 winning streak with a 54-52 victory Saturday at Norman, Okla.

The Aggies overcame a seven-point deficit with a 13-0 run, taking a 46-40 lead on Danielle Gant’s two free throws after a technical foul on Oklahoma Coach Sherri Coale.

Then the Aggies (15-4, 5-2) had to prevent the Sooners (17-2, 7-1) from rallying from a five-point deficit in the final minute.

Leah Rush made one of two free throws to get Oklahoma to within one, but La Toya Micheaux was fouled after grabbing the rebound on Rush’s miss and made one of two free throws to give A&M; a 54-52 lead with 3.5 seconds left. Gant then blocked Kendra Moore’s desperation three-point attempt from the right wing to secure the victory.

No. 9 Stanford 73, No. 10 Arizona State 65 -- Candice Wiggins scored 10 of her season-high 30 points in overtime at Tempe, Ariz., and the Cardinal extended its winning streak to 16 games.

Stanford (18-3, 11-0 Pacific 10) also ended Arizona State’s 22-game conference home winning streak. The Sun Devils (19-3, 9-2) shot a season-low 33% (22 for 66).

It was the Cardinal’s 14th Pac-10 win in a row, dating to last season.
