8 officers honored for recovering stolen vehicles

Eight Riverside police officers were honored Tuesday night for their work recovering more than 154 stolen vehicles last year with a total value of more than $1 million.
The officers -- Det. Matt Lewis and Officers Cory Camp, Bryan Crawford, Sancho Lopez, Shea McMahon, Aurelio Melendrez, Michael O’Boyle and Chris Williams -- arrested 73 people for grand theft auto in 2006.
