A Palestinian-born man found not guilty of conspiring to illegally finance Hamas terrorist activities in Israel was sentenced in Chicago to 21 months in prison on a related charge.

Muhammad Hamid Khalil Salah, 54, was convicted in February of obstruction of justice by a federal court jury that acquitted him and another man of racketeering conspiracy. The obstruction charge related to lies prosecutors said he told about his ties to Hamas.
