A ‘Knocked’ show of rocks

GUESTS at the “Knocked Up” premiere at the Mann Village Theatre on May 21 were blinded by a whole lot more than flashbulbs. 1. Katherine Heigl showed off her sparkler, courtesy of hubby-to-be Josh Kelley. 2. Justin Long, for one, could hardly contain his excitement. Although perhaps it was just because he peeped his fellow four-eyed actor 3. Seth Rogen, right, who got a hand from co-star Paul Rudd. But all their man-handing got upstaged by 4. Kate Walsh’s digit. The newly engaged TV star was dangerously close to one-upping Heigl when she flashed her own iced finger and fiance, Alex Young. But lest anyone worry about any more “Grey’s Anatomy” cast spats, Walsh knew better than to outshine the star (or her rock) on her big day. Phew!

Shades of ‘American Idol’ at Maroon 5 release party

The night before losing the “American Idol” crown, 9. Blake Lewis competed in a far friendlier atmosphere. The would-be king showed up May 22 to Maroon 5’s album release party at the Lot in West Hollywood, where partygoers could play pool, air hockey or old-school video games. Win or lose, at least he didn’t have to get “dawg-ed” by Randy Jackson. That surely was a draw for last year’s almost-queen 10. Katharine McPhee, who got in some face time with ladies man 11. Adam Levine, left. The lead singer also celebrated the band’s sophomore release, “It Won’t Be Soon Before Long,” with Adam Brody. No, their biblical other half, Eve, did not show up, but Amber Tamblyn, who played “Joan of Arcadia,” did. Close enough!

Must be family night

After giving birth to a boy just over two weeks ago, 5. Christine Baumgartner (far right) achieved the impossible: She slipped into a little black dress. The occasion: Husband Kevin Costner’s thriller “Mr. Brooks” premiered at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on May 22. The pair, who arrived in matching black shades, left little Cayden Wyatt at home to hang with two of Costner’s adult kids, Lily (far left) and Annie. Costar 6. Demi Moore also brought her kid along. Daughter Tallulah Belle and her mom battled over whose hemline was indeed the shortest, while hubby Ashton Kutcher desperately tried to bring back the ‘80s metal-band look. Was Moore’s previous husband Bruce Willis chuckling? Hardly, as he showed up to support his ex.

‘Starter Wife’ premiere has people seeing red

Red alert! The fiery shade appeared on more than just the carpet at the Pacific Design Center on May 22 for the premiere of USA Network’s “The Starter Wife,” based on Gigi Levangie Grazer’s novel about the Hollywood wife-style. The author, who based the book on her experiences as mega-producer Brian Grazer’s plus-one, turned heads with her titian tresses. 7. Marcia Cross kept up the color scheme to show off her post-babies bod, while 8. Debra Messing’s auburn locks got swept up in her miniseries moment.
