* at Colorado 4, New York Yankees 3: The Rockies completed a three-game sweep, keeping Roger Clemens from winning his 350th game. Matt Holliday broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring single in the fifth inning off Clemens (1-2).
* Baltimore 6, at San Diego 3: Alberto Castillo hit his first home run in more than two years and the Orioles took two of three from the Padres. Erik Bedard (5-4) got the win, giving up two runs and five hits in six innings.
* at Texas 6, Chicago Cubs 5: Pinch-hitters Kenny Lofton and Frank Catalanotto singled off the gloves of diving outfielders in the bottom of the ninth inning, producing the winning run.
* at Seattle 3, Pittsburgh 0: Felix Hernandez gave up six hits in eight innings and the Mariners shut out the Pirates for the second game in a row. Ichiro Suzuki had two hits for Seattle to extend his hitting streak to 16 games. He has at least one hit in 41 of his last 43 games.
* Dodgers 8, at Toronto 4: Jeff Kent hit a two-run home run and a double for the Dodgers.
