Custodial death trial is postponed

A judge postponed the trial of three members of the kingdom’s religious police in connection with the death of a detainee, an unprecedented case against a powerful force long resented for intimidating people.
The man, in his early 50s, died shortly after his arrest for being alone with a woman who was not his relative. His death and that of another man in custody have provoked an outcry.
