Northrop workers reject Mississippi shipyard pact

Northrop Grumman Corp. workers at the Century City-based company’s Ingalls shipyard in Pascagoula, Miss., rejected a proposed labor contract for the second time. Employees at the New Orleans shipyard approved their contract.
Members of the Pascagoula Metal Trades Council have been working under a contract extension since their previous agreement expired March 4, the council said. Picket lines have been established at the Ingalls site, the council said.
