Ex-voice coach is sought in molestation case

A former voice coach of the All-American Boys Chorus was being sought Tuesday after failing to appear for trial on charges of molesting a boy over several years.

Roger Alan Giese, 31, of Irvine could face more than 23 years in prison if convicted of sexually assaulting the teenager between 1998 and 2002. Authorities said he befriended the victim’s family by joining the same church and used that friendship to lure the boy and a brother to his house for overnight visits.
