Underground, in the light

Last year’s inaugural edition of the Paid Dues Festival in San Bernardino successfully showcased a wide range of underground hip-hop, so the event is back for another round. The highlight figures to be Los Angeles rapper Murs, one of the concert’s organizers, teaming up with Slug and Ant of Minneapolis’ Atmosphere to perform as their occasional side project Felt. They join a strong roster of the genre’s key players on the eight-hour show, including Sage Francis, Brother Ali, Jean Grae, Cage, Mr. Lif and Pigeon John.

Paid Dues Festival, National Orange Show Events Center, 689 S. E St., San Bernardino. Saturday, 4 p.m. $40 and $100. (951) 531-4600.
