Supt. Tim Harvey, who has led the Brea Olinda Unified School District for six years, announced Tuesday that he would retire in December.

“The District is in a good place right now and the time is right for me to move to a new phase of my professional and personal life,” Harvey stated in a news release. Harvey, who has worked in the district for 20 years, was previously a teacher and administrator in Orange and La Habra.
