Elmo, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Grover, Zoe, Bert, Ernie and the rest of the Sesame Street gang will frolic through the Southland beginning this weekend in Thousand Oaks. This production, “Elmo Makes Music,” will feature the Muppet pals and almost two dozen songs including such classic rock tunes as Bobby Day’s “Rockin’ Robin” and the Bee Gees’ “You Should Be Dancing” and Sesame Street favorites “C is for Cookie” and “The Alphabet Song.” Also this Broadway-style production, like the original television show itself, is designed to offer children lessons about patience, acceptance and teamwork.
