Minister agrees to revoke resignation

The country’s tourism minister withdrew her resignation after government leaders reassured her of their support, a government spokesman said.
Nilofar Bakhtiar had offered to quit after a radical Islamic cleric criticized her for hugging a parachute instructor after a charity jump in France.
The spokesman confirmed reports that Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and ruling party chairman Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had talked her into staying.
