Group faults toy factory conditions

Hundreds of people are making Walt Disney Co. stuffed toys at a factory in southern China for as many as 16 hours a day with only a few days off a month, a Hong Kong labor activist group said.
Students and Scholars Against Corporate Misbehavior said Tianyu Toys in Dongguan also regularly holds back workers’ wages for as many as 45 days.
A Disney spokeswoman confirmed that Tianyu Toys supplied goods to some of its licensees but declined to comment on the allegations.
