NASHVILLE -- Vince Young and LenDale White each ran for a touchdown, and Albert Haynesworth had three of Tennessee’s season-high seven sacks as the Titans beat the Carolina Panthers, 20-7, for their third consecutive victory.

The Titans (6-2) improved to 3-1 against the NFC South and ruined the Panthers’ first trip to Tennessee in only the third game between the teams. White finished with 100 yards in 31 carries.

The Titans held an opponent to 14 points or less for the sixth time this season. They held Carolina (4-4) to a season-low 191 yards and shut out the Panthers until the fourth quarter.

Travis LaBoy also had a sack and his first career interception for Tennessee, and Chris Hope picked off backup Matt Moore with 2 minutes 13 seconds left to seal the victory. The seven sacks came against David Carr.

Carr made his third start this season, ahead of Vinny Testaverde, who had started the previous two games. Carr left after taking a hit and was replaced by Moore, not Testaverde, on the last drive.
