City spokesman is hired by Disney for press post

John Nicoletti, Anaheim’s spokesman, is leaving the city after six years to take a communications position with the Walt Disney Co.
Nicoletti, who had been Anaheim’s external affairs manager, will be managing the national press activities for Disney’s Parks and Resorts Division in Burbank. Over the last 15 months, Disney and Anaheim have been embroiled in a fierce debate over the future of the city’s resort district.
Before joining the city, Nicoletti worked in communications for the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim, now the Honda Center.
