Ex-city worker is accused of falsifying documents

A former employee of the city’s Personnel Department was arraigned Tuesday on 15 charges of falsifying background reports for LAPD candidates, the district attorney’s office said.
Darryl Washington of Riverside pleaded not guilty to the charges. He no longer works for the city.
