Her love for Southwest goes south

From 2002 to 2004, I flew every weekend from Burbank to Oakland on Southwest to visit my fiance in San Francisco. I depended upon its no-frills policy to make traveling simple and fun. Every traveler, no matter their status, had to stand in line.
I was pretty upset when my engagement ended and I am just as upset after reading that Southwest is charging $25 so ticket holders can jump the line. (“Southwest seeks to put business travelers first,” Nov. 8.)
Southwest, you’re not the same airline I fell in love with. I think it is time we broke up and I play the field for a while.
