Re “L.A. Unified wins right to buy Glassell Park land for high school,” Nov. 20
Developer Richard Meruelo’s political, legal and financial maneuverings to derail the L.A. Unified School District’s plans to build a much-needed high school in northeast Los Angeles are shameful and unscrupulous. It’s obvious that he cares little for the well-being of the city he has exploited to make millions. Each month that this eminent domain battle drags on costs the school district thousands of dollars and denies our kids a higher quality of education.
