A Detour in downtown

The second annual LA Weekly Detour Festival looks a bit like a capsule Coachella -- one without the main stage headliners, true, but with some of the same providers of art installations and, more important, a fat playlist of indie-rock and dance-music worthies, among them Teddybears, Justice, Kinky and Autolux. And it sure looks like a party on the City Hall South Stage, whose lineup includes Pity Party, Satellite Party, and, perhaps the long day’s main attraction, Bloc Party.
LA Weekly Detour Festival, Main at 1st streets, downtown L.A. . Noon Saturday. $35.50. www.laweekly.com/detour.
