MLS playoffs

Four teams still are in the hunt for the last two playoff spots going into the final weekend of the season. Here, according to Major League Soccer, are the possible scenarios:

* Chicago (37 points): Clinches by defeating the Galaxy. Clinches with a tie if Kansas City or Colorado fails to win. Clinches with a loss if Kansas City loses and Colorado fails to win.

* Kansas City (37 points): Clinches by defeating FC Dallas in Texas. Clinches with a tie if the Galaxy fails to win or if Colorado fails to win or wins by less than a three-goal margin. Clinches with a loss if the Galaxy and Colorado fail to win.

* Colorado (35 points): Clinches if it defeats Real Salt Lake in Denver and one of the following occurs: Kansas City loses; Kansas City ties and Colorado wins by three goals or more; or Chicago fails to win.

* Galaxy (34 points): Clinches by defeating Chicago and having either Kansas City lose or Colorado fail to win.
