Share

* Kickoff: Saturday 12:30 p.m. PDT, at Jacksonville, Fla.

* TV: Channel 2.

* Line: Florida by 9.

* Florida update: The Gators rebounded from consecutive losses with a victory at Kentucky, but quarterback Tim Tebow has been held out of contact drills in practice this week because of a sore shoulder. Tebow, who expects to play, leads the nation with a 177.5 passer rating. He also averages almost 18 carries a game and leads the team with 578 yards rushing for an offense that averages 40.4 points a game -- ninth in the nation. The Gators defense has been vulnerable, giving up 23.3 points per game.

* Georgia update: Inconsistencies have plagued the Bulldogs, who have defeated Alabama but were blown out by Tennessee and struggled against Vanderbilt. The defense is giving up 319 yards and 19 points per game. The offense has shown the ability to put up numbers with three games of 35 points or more. Tailback Knowshon Moreno leads the team with 619 yards rushing and quarterback Matthew Stafford has been solid.

* Story line: The winner stays atop the Southeastern Conference East Division and the loser faces long odds of making it to the conference title game. Florida has won 15 of the last 17 games in the series.

* The pick: Florida. The Gators’ recent dominance has turned this rivalry into the world’s most boring cocktail party.
