A treat in Pismo Beach

After seeing an ad for a wine-tasting excursion at the SeaVenture Resort in Pismo Beach, I took my husband there recently for his birthday. The oceanfront hotel was lovely, and the service was excellent.

Dine at the family manor

Driving through the beautiful countryside of North Wales, I found the fabulous Tan-y-Foel Country House. It is a family-run 16th century manor house with incredible views of the Conwy Valley and Snowdonia.
