Northrop names division chief

Northrop Grumman Corp. promoted Gary Ervin to president of its integrated systems unit, which manages programs including the Global Hawk spy drone aircraft.
He replaces Scott J. Seymour, who is retiring. Ervin, 49, will take the post Jan. 1, Century City-based Northrop said.
Ervin joined the defense contractor in 2001 after a 22-year career with Lockheed Martin Corp.
