COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Robbie Rogers scored two goals to lead the Columbus Crew to a 4-3 victory over Chivas USA on Saturday in a game marked by two ejections, eight yellow cards and faltering stadium lights.

Guillermo Barros Schelotto scored on a penalty kick for the Crew (2-1-0) and set up goals for Alejandro Moreno and Rogers.

Referee Ricardo Salazar signaled for the penalty kick after Moreno was brought down in the penalty area by Chivas defender Jim Curtin in the 25th minute. Schelotto sent goalkeeper Brad Guzan the wrong way in converting the penalty for his first goal of the season.

Sacha Kljestan, Jesse Marsch and Paulo Nagamura scored for Chivas (1-1-1). Kljestan tied it in the 33rd minute, bending a 19-yard shot past Crew goalkeeper Will Hesmer and inside the right post for his second goal of the year.

Moreno regained the lead for the Crew in the 35th minute with his second goal of the season. Columbus took a 3-1 lead in the 71st minute when Schelotto sent a long pass that left Rogers alone with Guzan inside the penalty area for his first goal of the night.

The Crew saw its lead vanish in the span of six minutes, when Marsch scored in the 72nd and Nagamura in the 78th.

Rogers gave the Crew its second win of the season when his 18-yard shot was fumbled by Guzan and rolled across the goal line in the 82nd minute.

Chivas midfielder Francisco Mendoza received a yellow card for a rough tackle in the 13th minute and was ejected for a second yellow card in the 83rd. Kljestan was ejected for a serious foul one minute later.
