* Hit: It looked as if it was going to be Brandt Snedeker’s day when he putted from the fringe at the second hole, the ball traveling about half the length of the green and dropping into the hole for an eagle that tied him for the lead with Trevor Immelman. Even though Snedeker was the only player to eagle the 575-yard hole on Sunday, it really wasn’t his day.
* Miss: It looked as if it wasn’t going to be Tiger Woods’ day when he drove into the bunker at the par-three sixth, knocked it out to three feet, but missed the putt and made a bogey. It was his first bogey since No. 10 on Friday, and it dropped him six shots off the lead. As it turned out, it really wasn’t Woods’ day.
