CEO McKee to retire from Irvine Co.

Chief Executive Michael D. McKee is retiring from the Newport Beach landowner and developer Irvine Co. at the end of the month.
McKee is the longtime second-in-command to billionaire Chairman Donald Bren, who owns the company. McKee, 62, joined the Irvine Co. in 1992. No replacement was announced.
Bren will remain “an active chairman,” he said, leading the company with group presidents Daniel Young and Richard Gilchrist.
