Missing hikers are found safe
From Times Wire Reports
Rescue crews located 11 hikers who had been missing after floods tore through a remote part of the Grand Canyon, the Coconino County Sheriff’s Department said. All were found safe Monday in the canyon, where creeks have overflowed with runoff from severe thunderstorms.
Helicopters ferried 426 people out of the canyon from Supai, an American Indian village near most of the flooding.
