9 police killed in suicide attack

Nine policemen were killed and 31 wounded when a suicide bomber drove a car into their checkpoint west of Baghdad, a police source said.
He said most of the injured were policemen. The attack occurred in the Khan Dhari area.
Another police source put the death toll at three, with 30 wounded.
