Apartment blast kills at least 22
Times Wire Reports
An explosion devastated a five-story apartment building in southern Ukraine, killing 22 people and leaving more than 20 unaccounted for, officials said.
Twenty-one residents were pulled out alive from the building in the Black Sea resort of Yevpatoriya.
The explosion probably was caused by canisters of oxygen stored in the basement. It left piles of rubble several yards high, strewn with wires, smashed furniture, teddy bears and shoes.
