Guide to the 120th Tournament of Roses

Some spectator rules

* Overnight camping along the parade route is permitted on the night before the parade only. Do not arrive before noon today.

* All people and their belongings (blankets, chairs, etc.) must remain on the curb until 11 tonight, when spectators may move out to the blue honor line.

* No public areas (sidewalks, curbs, etc.) may be cordoned or roped off.

* No tents, sofas, ladders, scaffolding or boxes.

* No bonfires.

* No walking in the street.

Post-parade float viewing

* Floats will be on display for public viewing along Sierra Madre Boulevard between Paloma Street and Sierra Madre Villa Avenue and along Washington Boulevard between Sierra Madre and Woodlyn Road.

* Hours are Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 7 to 9 a.m. for the disabled and senior citizens, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for everyone.

* Admission is $7; free for children 5 and younger.

Parking

* Overnight street parking is allowed starting at noon today for tonight only.

* Paid parking is offered in numerous lots along the parade route.

* Reserved parking for automobiles, buses and RVs is available through Easy Parking Service (626) 286-7576, Sharp Seating (626) 795-4171 and others.

* Limited RV parking is available next to the Rose Bowl at Brookside Park.

Public transportation

* Metro Gold Line stations at Del Mar Boulevard, Memorial Park and Lake and Allen avenues are all within a short walk of the parade route.

* The Metropolitan Transportation Authority will provide regular bus service to areas near the parade. For more information, call (800) COMMUTE or visit mta.net.

Street and freeway ramp closures

* Colorado and Sierra Madre boulevards along the parade route will be closed to most traffic from 8 tonight until after the parade passes Thursday.

* Sierra Madre and Washington boulevards in the post-parade float viewing area will close at 4 p.m. today and reopen Sunday morning.

* Drivers are advised to avoid the parade formation area after 8 tonight until about 10 a.m. Thursday. Most streets and freeway ramps in the area will be closed or restricted to local traffic, including some entrances and exits of the 134 Freeway at Orange Grove and the 710 Freeway at California and Del Mar boulevards.

* The formation area is roughly bounded by Colorado Boulevard on the north, Columbia Street on the south, Arroyo Parkway on the east and Arroyo Boulevard on the west.

* In addition, east- and westbound offramps from the 210 Freeway at Sierra Madre Boulevard will be closed after 8 tonight and reopen about 6 p.m. Thursday.
