Overdone Oversight

I would like to see an economic stimulus package financed with the budget of this idiotic House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. I admit that the whole drama of whether Roger Clemens and other baseball players used or did not use steroids is mildly entertaining. But in these troubled times, spending even five cents of tax money trying to uncover answers is an outrage. Last time I checked the newspaper, our government had bigger fish to fry.

If Major League Baseball thinks that it has a drug problem, it should check itself into rehab, preferably on its own dime.
