Increased sales lift CPK profit

California Pizza Kitchen Inc., the owner of the namesake restaurant chain, said fourth-quarter profit rose 30% to $4.85 million, or 17 cents a share, from $3.73 million, or 13 cents, a year earlier. Sales climbed 12% to $162.9 million.

Shares of the Westchester-based company fell 65 cents to $14.20.
