Bessmertnova obituary: The obituary of Bolshoi ballerina Natalia Bessmertnova in Wednesday’s California section misquoted a passage from a 1993 dance review in the Washington Post. In the review, critic Alan M. Kriegsman compared Bessmertnova’s performance to “a song of the pain of mortality,” not “pain of morality” as stated in the obituary.
