Sanaa Lathan stars Monday in a TV-movie version of “A Raisin in the Sun” (8 p.m. ABC), but she and the play have some history together. “I first came across it when I read it in junior high,” says the 36-year-old L.A. resident. “Little did I know that in 2004 I’d be doing it on Broadway. I got nominated for my first Tony, and it all was just a wonderful experience.”

FRIDAY FUN In the late afternoon I’d stop by Maxine Boutique on Ventura Boulevard, where I always find something interesting to wear, from casual to fancy dresses, and the people there are always very helpful. For dinner, I’d go to Real Food Daily in West Hollywood. A couple of months ago I started thinking about eating healthier, and so I go there and everything’s healthy and organic -- you can get meatloaf that’s not really meat. Same thing with another of my favorites, the Tac-o’ the Town plate with Spanish rice and black beans. EASY DOES IT On a Saturday morning I’ll take my dogs on an hourlong hike up Fryman Canyon, and then I’d stop by Aroma Spa & Sports on Wilshire in Koreatown. They have the best massages in the world, and the prices are a little better than you find in a lot of places. They have great body scrubs too. Then I’d stop in the neighborhood somewhere for some Korean barbecue. SPIN DOCTOR In the evening I’d go see where my brother is DJing -- he’s always spinning somewhere. He goes by the name DJ Tendaji, and I’ll hang out with him in the booth and have a drink with him. He’s a great DJ. FRESH START On Sunday I’ll get up and go to the Hollywood Farmers Market for fresh produce and flowers. Then I’d stop by a place for brunch called Vivian’s on Ventura Boulevard -- I’d have the fantastic banana pancakes or maybe some waffles. SERENITY NOW Later I’d go to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. I saw the recent Dali exhibit there, and it was so fascinating. I find the museum very calming, soaking up the art away from all the hustle and bustle of L.A. It’s the perfect way to wind down on a Sunday afternoon.
